Wisconsin vs Illinois Prediction

Wisconsin started the season off strong winning 4 of there first 5 games, but over the next 5 games, they only won 1. Since then they have got hot again winning 4 straight including a win over Ohio State in Columbus last Friday. This week Wisconsin moved up 6 spots in my power rankings and broke into the top 25 as the 21st team in the country. Now for Illinois, they have only won 1 game on the road this season, and that came against Grand Canyon. Wisconsin, on the other hand, is 7-0 this season at home. Illinois also moved up in the power rankings this week to the 46th spot in the country. Wisconsin struggled to cover the spread early in the season, but as of late they have covered 5 of there last 6 games. As for Illinois, they have not covered in any of there 3 games as dogs this season. In Wisconsin’s last 15 games against Illinois, they have covered the spread 13 times and are 10-0 straight up over the last 10. If you’re not convinced yet that Wisconsin is the better team there are a few more stats that back it up. Wisconsin has outshot Illinois from both three and the free-throw line. With Wisconsin being at home in this one I think that it could be very hard for Illinois to cover. I am taking Wisconsin -4 in this game.

Wisconsin -4
