While Davidson struggled early on in non-conference play, they are currently on a 3 game winning streak. Vanderbilt has improved a lot since there last-place finish in the SEC a year ago. In this week’s rankings, Davidson stayed at 37th and after a rocky start, they have improved to 6-5, but have only covered 5 of there 11 games this year. Vanderbilt moves up 1 spot in the rankings this week and is now sitting at 176th. While they have an impressive 7-4 record, they have only covered in 1 of there last 6 games. The main aspect that I believe will decide this one is free-throw shooting. Davidson has been shooting 76.6% from the line this season, while Vanderbilt has only shot 67.1%. Davidson will be looking to get one last non-conference win before starting conference play on January 5th. I believe that Davidson with not only cover but win this one, but win outright. Depending on your book the Moneyline may be the better option if you can get better than even odds.
