The spread of the Peach Bowl currently sits at LSU -14. Vegas seems to think that there is no dought that Heisman winner Joe Burrow will lead his team to the national championship game. As a holder of an LSU future ticket, I hope that they are right. LSU has had many commanding wins this season. One of the most important came against Alabama when they went into Tuscaloosa and took control of the SEC West. There run was only made greater a few weeks later when they met Georgia in the SEC Championship and blew them out of the water. At 13-0 LSU doesn’t look to be losing any steam going into the Peach Bowl.
While Oklahoma has had far from a bad season. The midseason loss the Kansas State looked to derail any shot at the National Championship. However, two wins over Baylor was enough to claim the last playoff spot. While they were able to turn the season around and win the Big 12, they are undoubtedly the worst team in the playoffs. However, while many believe that LSU will just roll over them I believe that Oklahoma will manage to keep it close. While the chances of Oklahoma winning this game are very slim, 14 points is just to many when it comes to the College Football Playoffs. Oklahoma +14 is my pick for the Peach Bowl.
