NFL Week 3 Picks 2020
Texans vs Steelers
During the first two weeks of the season the Texans had perhaps the hardest schedule in the NFL taking on the Chiefs and Ravens. While this explains their losses, it does not show how bad they really were. In those two weeks they only averaged 18 points and were on the field for only 25:11. On the other side the Steelers put up an average of 26 points and had the ball for 30:36. While two weeks is not a great sample size, especially in the NFL, Big Ben and the Steelers look to be back to playoff form. I am taking the Steelers -4 in this one.
Panthers vs Chargers
The next game comes between the Panthers and Chargers. I backed the Panthers in the first two weeks of the season and watched them struggle to move the ball the entire time. With the loss of Christian McCaffrey, the Panthers will continue to struggle. The Chargers on the other hand put up a fight against the Chiefs forcing OT in Week 2. While they ended up loosing Justin Herbert looked like there future QB. I am taking the Chargers -6.5 in this one.
Packers vs Saints
The final play for today comes in SNF with the Packers taking on the Saints. After getting destroyed the Raiders in MNF the Saints need to get headed back in right direction with a win in this one. However, the Packers come into this game with one of the most explosive offenses in the league. They have averaged 42.5 points in their first two games and have possessed the ball for 38:01. That is why I am taking the Packers +3 in this one.
- Steelers -4
- Chargers -6.5
- Packers +3
