Iowa vs Minnesota

Both Iowa and Minnesota have not had the seasons they wanted to start the season. Coming into this game Minnesota is 3.5-point underdogs at home. Coming into this game Minnesota has averaged 36.33 points per game, while Iowa has put up 29.67 points per game. Minnesota has also done a great job getting there defense off of the field with 35:24 time of possession. Iowa on the other hand has had a time of possession of 29:27. My pick for this game is Minnesota +3.5.

Indiana vs Michigan State

Indiana has had quite the shocking start to the season winning and covering in there first 3 games, while Michigan States comes in at 1-2. One of the strongest parts of Indian’s game has been there ability to put points on the board averaging 37 points per game. Michigan State has done slightly worse with only 20.33 points per game. Indiana has also done a great job of not turning the ball over with .67 turnovers per game. Michigan State on the other hand has been horrible at holding on to the ball with 3.33 turnovers per game. My pick for this game is Indiana -7.

Fresno State vs Utah State

The next game on this week’s card is a Mountain West matchup between Fresno State and Utah State. Fresno State comes into this game as 10-point favorites following their impressive win last week over UNLV. So far this season Fresno State has put up 32.33 points per game while Utah State hasn’t been able to break double digits with only 9.67 yards per game. Fresno State has also done a great job moving the ball with 442.67 yards per game. Utah State doesn’t even have half of that with only 209.34 yards per game. My play for this game is Fresno State -10.

Colorado vs Stanford

The next game on the card is a Pac 12 showdown between Colorado and Stanford. Colorado comes into this game as 7-point underdogs following their victory last weekend. In that game Colorado put up 48 points on UCLA. Stanford on the other hand only put up 14 in their game against Oregon. While we only have a one game sample size, Colorado had the ball for 39:31 in their game, While Stanford’s time of possession was 32:36. My pick for this game Colorado +7

SMU vs Tulsa

The final pick of the day is a game between SMU and Tulsa. This teams have had slightly different paths so far this season, with SMU having played 4 more games than Tulsa. SMU comes into this game having put up 40.5 points per game, while Tulsa has only scored 29.25 points per game. SMU has also done a good job at not making stupid mistakes with only 6.13 penalties for 55.28 yards. Tulsa on the other hand has committed 9.5 penalties for 91 yards. My pick for this one is SMU +2.5.
