College Football Picks 9/25/21 – Week 4 | Chris’ Picks

College Football Picks 9/25/21

Texas Tech vs Texas

The first game on this Saturday’s card is Texas Tech taking on Texas. Texas Tech has been very surprising to me this season with a big time win over Houston in the first game of the season. While Texas isn’t a bad team, the loss to Arkansas makes me question how good this team really is. Texas Tech +7.5 is just to many points to give the Red Raiders in this game.

The second game on the card is SMU taking on TCU. TCU really hasn’t impressed me this season with a win over Duquesne and only a 2-point victory over Cal. SMU on the other hand has looked like a great football team with Tanner Mordecai at the helm this season. My pick for this game is SMU +9.

Clemson vs NC State

Next, we have an ACC matchup between Clemson and NC State. Clemson isn’t in a bad place, but DJ Uiagalelei certainly hasn’t been anything special threw the first 3 games of the season. NC State on the other hand didn’t look great against Mississippi State, but they are getting to many points in this game. My pick for this game is NC State +10.

UCLA vs Stanford

We head out west for the next game between UCLA and Stanford. UCLA came out hot this season with big victories over Hawaii and LSU. While Stanford rebounded after there Week 1 loss to Kansas State, they just aren’t that great of a football team. I think that UCLA gets right after the Fresno State game and covers the 4.5-point spread.

Nebraska vs Michigan State

The final fight on the card is Nebraska taking on Michigan State. Mel Tucker has this Michigan State cooking this season with a 3-0 start to the season. Nebraska on the other hand looked good against Fordham and Buffalo, but not so much against good competition. Michigan State easily covers the 5-point spread at home in this game.

  • Texas Tech +7.5 (-105)
  • SMU +9 (-110)
  • NC State +10 (-110)
  • UCLA -4.5 (-108)
  • Michigan State -5 (-110)
