College Basketball Picks 3/13/21
I was not able to record today’s episode for YouTube, so today’s College Basketball previews will be in written form.
Cincinnati vs Wichita State
The first play on the card is an American semifinal matchup between Cincinnati and Wichita State. After a narrow victory against USF yesterday, Wichita State is just lucky to still be alive. Cincinnati also had a close game with SMU but came away with the victory. One thing that is very impressive about this Wichita State team is how well they have done holding on to the basketball only turning it over on 15.6% of there possessions. Cincinnati on the other hand is turning it over on 20.6% of there possessions. My pick for this game is Wichita State.
Iona vs Fairfield
The second game of the day is the MAAC Championship between Iona and Fairfield. Iona has made quiet the run so far in the MAAC tournament under Rick Pitino. Iona has done a very good job shooting the basketball with an effective field goal percentage of 51.3%. Fairfield on the other hand isn’t shooting the ball as well only hitting 45.8% of there shots. Iona has also played great offensive basketball with an offensive efficiency of 201. Fairfield on the other hand has an adjusted offensive efficiency of 290. My pick for this game is Iona.
Georgia Tech vs Florida State
The final play of the day is the ACC Championship between Georgia Tech and Florida State. One of the strongest parts of Georgia Techs game is there ability not to turn the ball over. Coming into this game they are only turning it over on 16.2% of there possessions. Florida State on the other hand is turning the ball over on 19.5% of there possessions. My pick for this game is Georgia Tech.
- Wichita State -3.5
- Iona -8
- Georgia Tech +4
